I was born and raised in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. As a young child, I became intrigued with metal. Geometric and abstract shapes have always fascinated my mind. My career in jewelry started in 1990, when I embarked on an apprenticeship in Metal Fabrication. Coming from four generations of jewelers, it seemed like the most logical career path to pursue. The journey as a goldsmith/jewelry designer lasted a quarter of a century. Yet always in the back of my mind, there was the dream to someday build large metal sculptures.
In 2010, my family and I moved to North Carolina. The diverse artistry that the state had to offer amazed me. Soon after our move, I met one of the leading metal sculptors in North Carolina. After we met, he agreed to take me under is wing and he helped me to make my dream a reality. And thus, The Sculpture Smith was born. Today, my mission is to create sculptures for residential, commercial, and commission-based clientele.
